Simbreach™
Simbreach™ is a training tool for dynamic reality-based scenarios for any operators who conduct mechanical breaching during operations.
Simbreach™ allows instructors to run reality based training scenarios that involve non destructive repeated breaching on any inward opening doors on existing residential or commercial buildings.
Students should be provided with instruction on how to swing a full weight ram prior to scenarios to build technique and power on a breaching door prior to dynamic scenarios. The technique and fundamentals will remain the same during training scenarios with the Simbreach™.
The Simbreach™ is intended for use focusing on tactics and scenario use to improve tactical decision making which includes a breach under the controlled stress of a reality based scenario.
Prior to the start of a scenario the Simbreach wedges are inserted into the door jamb to block the lock set engagement for areas which have been selected for breaches. Instructors will mark the outside of the door indicating to scenario participants that a door is locked. Students can then utilize the ram to breach the door during a reality based scenario training session.

- Adding a breach to complex tactical scenarios where teams can work out the “door dance” to provide cover for the door as the breacher moves out of the way
- Training tactical teams in exterior structure domination during scenarios
- Training tactical teams in immediate action responses that include a breach during a reality based scenario.
- Training operators to breach on the tactical or non tactical side of doors during dynamic scenarios with realistic environments
- Doing hostage rescue training for tactical teams that incorporates mechanical breaches
- Instructors can utilize a thicker wedge which may require multiple swings to open the door. This will expose scenario breachers to the stress of having to take work though difficult doors in a controlled environment
