Course Description:

Setcan Corporation is court declared experts have designed a Conflict Avoidance Strategies Master Instructor course for Fire / Paramedics that focuses on de-escalation of a possibly violent situation, recognizing when and how to de-escalate a situation, and the use of force defense tactics that are safe for both parties involved.

A study conducted by Justin Mausz & Mandy Johnston (Mausz, J. & Johnston, M. (2019). “Violence, in fact, is not part of the job” A qualitative study of paramedic experiences with workplace violence.
